Alongside a varied performing career, she is passionate about helping singers of all ages and abilities find joy and ease in singing, while developing healthy and efficient voices.
Mimi trained at Read Dance and Theatre College and The Musical Theatre Academy (MTA). Her performance credits include Evita in Concert at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, playing Gerda in a UK tour of The Snow Queen, and working as a lead vocalist for productions at the Players Theatre. She currently performs internationally as a member of vintage vocal trio The Satin Dollz, taking her across the UK as well as to France and Los Angeles. Mimi also performs as a solo artist, with the Lumi Jazz Duo, and in a professional ABBA tribute band.
Alongside her performing work, Mimi has held teaching roles including Vice Principal and Musical Theatre teacher at PQA Uxbridge, and has previously taught at Stagecoach Chiswick, The MTA Hub, and Berkshire Theatre School. Her creative work also includes choreographing and assistant directing a range of school productions. She now teaches Musical Theatre at Global Academy, alongside her private vocal coaching.
Mimi is dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy the process of singing. Her students have achieved excellent results, from landing dream roles and reaching the finals of Matilda (West End), to regaining confidence after vocal injury. Whether working with beginners or experienced performers, Mimi focuses on helping each individual find freedom and confidence in their voice.
