Rachel is a highly experienced Performer, Singing Teacher & Vocal Coach and Choir Director who has over 18 years experience teaching in schools and private practice. Originally Classically trained, she has performed as soloist at a variety of recitals, weddings and functions, and has been a member of local a cappella vocal group, Peculi8, since its inception in 2005. Rachel is an advocate for mental health, and is on a mission to help people find their singing voice and in the process improve their wellbeing. The myth that individuals cannot sing needs to be busted! Alongside performing and teaching, she leads both the Glee Club Community Choir and Singing Mamas Choir in Leighton Buzzard. Rachel currently offers lessons from her home studio in Leighton Buzzard, the Bluthner Piano Centre in Central London, and Online. She is a proficient pianist and accompanist, and particularly enjoys working with students within the Classical and Musical Theatre genres, although loves the challenge of a wide variety of styles, ages and abilities. When Rachel is not singing, conducting, teaching or performing, she is wife and best friend to Toby, Mummy to Ted and Heidi, and can usually be found eating copious amounts of Cadbury's Marvellous Creations.
